Rough cut (Deckled edged)

Rough cut, also known as deckle-edged, is a type of hardcover book where the cover is cut flush with the book block, leaving the board exposed on one, two, or all three sides. The pages of the book have an intentional uneven and antiquarian look and feel, resembling uncut or untrimmed edges, which was the original standard in publishing.
